Well I finally got around to putting all the photos from the trip to Germany up on the web, In three groupings (which relate to the three stages of the travels)

Geology in Germany

Plenty of rocks and even mines and mining.
And here is a Maar Museum, a geological museum with lots of fossils, volcanic rocks and geological history about the nearby Maar derived lakes.

But a lof of our time was up in the Baltic where there are no rocks apart from the occasional one dropped by a glacier.

Well I missed meeting you this time, but my next visit to Germany in a few years time will have a much longer stay in Berlin, as we didn't spend nearly enuf time there.
