spelling: a dying art

I am amused when people refer to their blond children as "toeheads".

Spelling really IS a dying art. I guess I'm lucky- usually I can look at a word and know it's right/wrong or see it in my head and spell it correctly, but that doesn't always help. I have more of a problem with a's where e's should be and vice versa, along with there/their/they're, your/you're, etc. Ugh that drives me nuts. And I love towheads.:)

Confusing there/their/they're, which/witch, your/you're/ur(!), and lose/loose drive some of us readers nuts as well. :P It's Eternal September 2.0. I figure when we hit 3.0 the majority of discourse will have degenerated to the level of my four year old.
