A propos de rien, here are a few pictures I rediscovered today that have never made it past my screen. In the snowy desaturated world that is my here and now, this color, even with the somber theme, seemed welcoming today.

The last shot (or rather one much like it) is becoming a watercolor a few rooms down from where I sit now.

The painting mrearden was referring to is as close to done as it's going to get. I prefer the lighting in your shot here to what we got in April. Perhaps we can make the trip again (since you'll be there another 5 years -yay you!), and I'll give it another go.
