Well, I'm back at home now and trying to settle back in to the chaos of one very busy house, and am pleased to announce that I'm no longer keeping vampire hours.  Although I've often come home for the summers to work at my hometown museum, it feels quite strange to be here in springtime.  Gather round, my children, for some more deeply profound

I KNOW!! The secret is being really neglectful of your friends, ignoring all your e-mail correspondence, and getting the same level of information and entertainment roughly equivalent to that of someone who lives under a rock. All of this leads to weekly internet binges of 5 or 6 hours, and then looking away from the screen with the awful realization that you frittered away the entire day...and liked it.
