So, I bike to work.  I've been loaned a bike! A Hallowe'en follow-up:

Alas, the Magical-Wondrous-Sparkling-Halloween-Spectacular staff party I was so excited for didn't exactly happen as planned.  As in, it didn't happen at all.  It was cancelled because most staff members wouldn't be in town for it.  I think the phrase "Bah, humbug!" is in order. A few weekends ago, a brigade of museum volunteers (some from over five hours away) had a huge play-date with the tanks and land rovers and Austins in the museum's collection.  They invited me to tag along and I got to ride around in tanks in a renegade parade.  My favourite was this giant tank, which had swirly letters stencilled on the side that ( Read more... )

1) Noticing little details that most other people overlook, and then sometimes telling them, sometimes not.
