Summary: Conan invited Minato to soccer, but he arrived way too early since he was bored anyway. Beware, a soccer ball just might hit someone.

Bagheera was all but patrolling the grounds on this fine day. Old habits die hard, and he couldn't keep himself from checking the grounds for changes or signs of new residents at least once every day. By now he knew every resident's scent, where their rooms were, who they associated with most frequently... and he of course had every inch of the house and surrounding property memorized.

As he passed young Conan, he noticed he was kicking around a good sized ball. Memories of his cubhood came rushing back, and he couldn't resist going over.

"Hello, Conan. What have you got there?"

Okay, here was a presence that was definitely familiar, but not familiar. As much as odd experiences he had, he had never met with a wild leopard before the last event. What surprised him more was 1. it spoke and 2. it knew his name.

Conan stopped dribbling the ball and looked at the wild animal. "Hello. It's a soccer ball," he answered, settling on talking to Bagheera like he would a normal adult.

"A soccer ball. Why is it called this?"

He pads closer, coming to sit near Conan and wrapping his tail around his feet. He's still eying the ball curiously.

Conan was pretty nervous. This was one of the things where he had no idea what to do. Whiiiiich was pretty rare.

"Because it's a ball to play soccer with. Do you know soccer?"

"I do not know of soccer. It is a game?"

He reaches out a paw and gently prods the ball.

"Yeah. It's where there's two teams of eleven players kick this ball and try to kick it in each other's goals. Most people call it football though, since you can't use your hands," Conan explained, summarizing it greatly. There was much more like what kind of players and rules, but it wasn't like Bagheera was asking for a soccer lesson.

He's still resting his paw on the ball, rolling it slightly.

"So are other Men meeting you here to play such a game today?"

Conan shook his head. "Not today. I'm just playing with one person later on. I'm going to teach him how to move the balls around effectively and stuff."

Bu then he rises to his feet with a small grunt. "Well, I had best be on my way, so I'll leave you to it. Thank you for the explanation."

"It's...nice to meet you Bagheera-san," Conan said, with a small smile. "I'm sorry about last time." He meant during the Carnival Corpse event.
