It's been ages. Ages. No, really. Sofia is fairly certain that she's been standing here not killing anybody for what must have literally been years.

When her next move is called she doesn't react.

When her next move is called again she grudgingly steps forward, scratching her arms in defeat, ready to uneventfully locate to--

A square that is already occupied.

Her listless expression instantly transforms into a broad grin and she points a finger at the black chess piece.

"You!"

Granted, she actually has no idea who you is... or what for that matter. But that's an all too insignificant detail in the grand scheme of things.

The grand scheme of things being a metaphor for the fireball she immediately sends flying towards her opponent.

Droog's been busy, covering ground every few turns or so, so he's alert when Sofia announces her attack. But, trapped within his square, he really has no better option than to drop to the ground and roll.

He comes up on one knee, wielding the seven and eight of diamonds, and sends a spray of machine gun fire in Lamb's general direction.
If he learned nothing else from his last encounter with plasmids, he at least knows he wants to keep her as far away from him as he can.

It's been so long since anyone fought back.

The impact of the bullets sends Sofia reeling back to her own square.

She hangs her head low and her entire body stands slumped as she feels her summer dress soaked in red, watches drop after drop of blood trickling down her arms and legs, staining the white ground at her feet.

It's been too long since anyone fought back properly.

Sofia jerks her head up with a grin and runs towards Droog with open arms, fire blazing from her hands.

Ahhh, there's nothing like standing around in the same square for fifteen moves, wanting to punch shit and not being able to. Not to mention, Ryohei's mirror knows absolutely no one on this side of the field. There's a troll in a square near his, but Ryohei doesn't feel particularly like starting a conversation (more like he's wishing he'd be ordered into that square to attack so he'd at least have something to do).

He keeps an eye on his comm device, at least, in case something interesting happens elsewhere on the field while he's cooling his heels.

Yamamoto hasn't really dealt with mirrors before so he's confused as to why Ryohei is helping the other side. He dials him up on the comm.

"Hey, Sempai! Why are you on the white team?"

"Yamamoto." Ryohei glances down at the device, then looks back toward where the Black King is currently situated. "I'm on the white team because I'm a mirror."

80. Black Castle to A3 [CHECK] jivitadana June 24 2011, 20:47:31 UTC
It had been a long wait from Move 26 to 80 when Minato was finally forced to move to where but one square ahead of his spot from A4 to A3. All he could do from his side of the Board was watch and hear the battles around him, one by one his friends falling, all but his own mirror. One less person to worry about. It was frustrating, to say the least, that there was nothing he could do to help anyone who needed it.

For a while, Minato had also been alone, no other squares around him had been occupied. That is, until a certain Sollux Captor, Black Castle extraordinaire, ended up in the square next to him at Move 86, occupying the square Minato had previously been waiting.

In a matter of five moves and two battles, Sollux has managed to find himself on the other side of the board. But even with this, he's not happy.

Thus far his interactions with the humans have led to nothing but terrible misfortune (not to mention with the not!Terezi was the most horrorterror he'd ever experienced) but moving to this new square makes him just a little bit wary.

He had already passed one Minato to get here, and now was standing next to another. The one thing he had learned from this game was that if you invaded a square, you were sure to win. But he shoves down the feeling of unease and wills himself to try the speaking thing again.

Hey uh...you're the one on my thide rihght? I mean the black thide.

Minato hadn't minded the company, especially from someone on his own side, and in this case, someone who shared the same task as he did as a Castle. From what he could see from his place at the edge of the Board, the troll had been busy moving around the field and fighting his battles. He certainly covered more ground than Minato himself had.

The blue-haired teenager nodded. "Mn, I am. Are you doing all right?"

If they were the few Black pieces remaining, Minato wanted to make sure that his allies were all in the best health. There may be more upcoming battles to face.
