The day was drawing near its end, but Minato was still in the kitchen having a snack. Maybe melonpan of some sort like his icon as it reminded him of the student store in his high school's lobby. Dinner time, or really time to eat, never really comes to an end for the blue-haired teenager.

Once he finished that snack, Minato was up and had the fridge open, thinking he should have something to drink. But when he heard someone else had entered the kitchen, another teenage boy that he hadn't seen before, Minato closed the door to the fridge. He stepped aside and gave him a nod, letting the newcomer work his way around the kitchen or simply explore it.

It really was a small world. It couldn't be helped Shinichi supposed, considering that they were just in one building. As much as Shinichi would have wanted to be friends with Minato as a high schooler as well, he wasn't going to just come off the bat to tell that Conan equaled Shinichi. It wasn't that he didn't trust Minato, it was just that in case of all the people, someone from the Black Organization came, Minato wouldn't be a target.

Shinichi only paused for a moment, as to see who was there, before going over to the stovetop. He couldn't act too used to the ways of the kitchen, but he didn't want to look too lost either. After a few moments, he began to look in the cupboards, for coffee beans and a mill. He kept attention towards Minato, not too much to make Minato suspicious or uncomfortable, but not too little as if he was ignoring the other's existence.

No one else had been in the kitchen, not at this time of day. Minato observed the other teenager, not finding him familiar or someone he had run into before or seen over the network. He was about to clear away the table of his plate, but after seeing that the other boy was rifling through various drawers and cupboards, Minato spoke up, offering assistance.

"Did you need help finding something?"

Shinchi had just taken out the mill when Minato offered his assistance. "Huh? Oh, I don't think so? I found one thing I was looking for," he replied with a small smile, holding up the mill. "All I need are some coffee beans."

He assumed that the beans would probably be nearby as well, since the Mansion had a way of making thing you need appear right in front of you.

Minato gave him a nod. He only wanted to make coffee, or so Minato had assumed. That seemed rather familiar to the blue-haired Persona user as he had coffee not too long ago with a certain bespectacled detective, but there were enough residents in the Mansion and enough people who should know how to make coffee at all.

"They're over here." Minato opened up one of the cupboards nearby and showed him where the variety of coffee beans were.

"Have you been in Wonderland long?" He thought to ask that as well.

"Thanks." Shinichi went over to where Minato had shown him to select a coffee bean. It really did seem that the Mansion had everything from everywhere, since he spotted a familiar blend that he favorited back at home. Taking that one, he took one cupful and began grinding with the mill.

"Not really. Almost a week," he answered truthfully. Conan may had been here for longer but Shinichi hadn't.

He was about to ask if Minato wanted some, but that seemed too frank and friendly. It wasn't really what Shinichi himself would do to a stranger he just met.

"You seem to have adjusted well."

A week in Wonderland only wasn't much time to adapt oneself, but it depended on the person and their personality. If this teenager was comfortable enough around the kitchen or around the Mansion by now, it said a lot about his character.

Minato retrieved his plate from the table to wash it. He pointed out another place in the kitchen along the way if this other boy wanted to have coffee.

"The coffee mugs are in another cupboard over there."

"I'm a fast learner."

And a fast adapter. If he wasn't, there was pretty much no way he would be able to act like a child enough to hide his identity.

Shinichi looked over at where Minato pointed. As helpful as ever it seemed. Minato really was a nice person, much more than most people he knew. "Thanks."

He went over to the cupboard to get the coffee mug. Thank god for height. No more stools and crawling up on the counter.

Minato could see that he really was a fast learner, and nodded to the other teenager in response. After cleaning up after himself, he dried his hands on a washcloth and leaned back a bit against the sink.

"What's your name?"

The other teen might not have been here long, but it didn't mean he didn't have friends from his world here already or was without new acquaintances here.

Shinichi put a kettle on the stove, and after setting the coffee press, he turned around and leaned against the sink to face MInato.

"My name's Kudou Shinichi. You?"

"Arisato Minato."

The blue-haired teenager smiled a bit. He seemed to be running into more people from Japan. Wonderland must have some sort of affinity for it.

"Someone has explained how Wonderland works to you already?"

"I've read that manual," Shinichi answered, "But just reading it is different from actually experiencing a bit, so I've been exploring a bit."

"Is there anything you still have questions about?"

Minato had time today, or there wasn't much to do later on in the evening besides reading or the like.

Shinichi tilted his head as he tried to think of a question. After a few moments of thinking, he asked, "Is there like a map or anything?" Even if he knew the answer, at least it was better than nothing?

"I don't believe so. I haven't had the need for one."

Although Shinichi did bring up a good point in that it might be useful for someone new to the Mansion. But it shouldn't take long to become accustomed to the building or outside itself.

"Did you need to find something or place in particular?"

"Not really, I was just curious," he replied, his attention going over to the kettle as it had started whistling. " 'scuse me." Shinichi turned around to shut the stove off and take the kettle off the stove. He began pouring the hot water in the coffee presser. "Most of the places people use are on the first two floors right?"
