Well, there was a vaguely familiar face. Wasn't that the guy asking about his crow trouble what seemed like forever ago? Was he making shadow puppets? Holy fuck, this guy's like John and Jade with all that energy.

Whatever, he might as well be sociable. It could help make him feel less like a friendless loser.

"Bored?"

Miguel turns, and after a moment of confusion, realizes who it is. "Jade's novio! Ah, Dave, correct?" He beams, looking the boy over.

He certainly doesn't look like he'd do anything untoward to his hermanita. Hopefully that assumption is true.

"Sit down. After out talk on the compyooters, we should talk face to face, si?"

"Yep, that's me. Miquel, right?"

What's with that look?

"Yeah, sure." The blond sat down next to the man. "What do you wanna talk about?"

It takes a moment for him to formulate what he wants to ask. And then he just blurts it out.

"How old are you? I thought you were...older..."

And where's his puppet?

"I'm at the ripe age of 13. I've got an older brother, though, so that might be why." He shrugs. Does he really look older than his age? Hmm. "Harley's the same age."

...That explains some things. "Um...oh! Well, then I suppose I don't have so much to worry about."

Buuut still. "Don't get her pregnant."

"You know, I can't remember now! She's been my best amiga since I got here, though." Hmm. He'll have to reminisce with her later. "She's an adventurer. I'm drawn to them, I suppose."

"Kinda hard not to be with her," he muses, "Yeah, careful with that. She might drag you everywhere. Literally."

Dave will never forget the frog adventure. Never.

"I think I'm okay with that, chico." He laughs. "If anything, I'll end up dragging her just as often. Adventure is what makes life worth living after all."
