The earthquake was slightly alarming, but it didn't seem anything that was going to completely destroy the building they were in at the moment. However, with the whole after shocks and the lights was something tiring by after a few hours. Conan had noticed how some people seemed to be acting slightly oddly than normal, but he wasn't sure if it was of the event or because of the situation they were in.

As for Conan himself, he had slowly began to feel slightly odd, lonely as well. He started thinking less about the situation now, and more about his home, his situation, the people that he had seen die. He tried to shoo that away from his mind, and focus on the now, but when he let his guard down, a wave of... some feeling came over him.

He sighed, trying to get some sleep in between the after shocks, but it was proving to be hard.

A notebook was a must-have item for Conan. You never knew when a case was going to happen..... But anyway, Conan was slightly surprised when Minato started doing shiritori. However, he didn't mind it. It was a simple brain-using game that he enjoyed.

Conan took the pen and wrote down his word, which was kinda of a new twist... (because shiritori is mostly down orally)

Minato didn't think someone like Conan would play just any mindless game. At least with a word game, they could both interact and think and keep their minds off the loneliness and the pain.

(Thank you! I'm learning new things everyday. Much appreciated. ♥)

Although, considering Conan's position now, he was actually getting used to mindless games. After all, he spends most of his days with 7 year olds. (although more with dead bodies and police) Minato's way of distraction was perfect for Conan though, for him, using his mind was a gateway for ignoring everything else.

However, it's probably very likely that all the words Conan's coming out with are related to mystery and dead bodies....

( ooc; it's no problem! It's probably easier for people playing shiritori if they write it down since they could check what words they already said. Doing it orally means you have to remember what you've said before, because you can't say the same word technically.... )

Minato noticed Conan's word choices, but it wasn't surprising since Conan hung out around detectives and crime scenes so often and was interested in mysteries. Minato was also impressed by his vocabulary in general, but again, that wasn't so surprising either.

This was actually a lot of fun. It was so much better than sitting around and spacing out or feeling how lonely it was. He couldn't think of anyone else he'd rather play this game with or these types of games with other than with Conan.

(OOC: So cool, thanks! They can write it this time and have a record that they did play it. And then they can play it again another time too. ♥)

So much violence in Conan's life. I would be quite worried if a child used words likes "asphyxiation" or "rigor mortis" during a game....

But anyway, Conan was actually having quite a lot of fun as well. He couldn't go all out, since that would be a little too suspicious, but he didn't have to hold back too much either. It was a nice medium. Pretty soon, the paper will probably be filled with words...

(( ooc; sure! /o/ ♥ ))
