John was reading a book about magic. Yes, he had like fifty at home, and yes, it was fakey fake magic instead of the real kind of magic some people in the mansion could do, but it was still super awesome and not a book he'd read already.

So shut up, geez.

He hovered about a foot above his bed, flipping the pages with little bursts of air.

Oh God. This is like a date or something. He...thinks. Actually this would be a really old-timey kind of date, right? Like froggy went a-courtin' or something.

...He's not sure how to feel about this. Better just state the obvious.

They aren't too far from the tea room now, and instead on continuing on down the stairwell to outside, she starts leading him down the hall.

Ah, perfect. Only now does Santana drop her hold on his arm and steps away.

"Don't worry. We're all here to help." She gestures to a chair, then goes up to join the other...teachers. "Sex Ed 101 can begin."

And John is suddenly cling wrap on a sandwich, or at least a terrified and embarrassed teenage boy pressed up against a door.
