Katara's gone through the rift, because well, her curiosity got the better of her. She wasn't sure what to expect when she went through it, but what she saw was very familiar and not entirely welcome.

She's found herself in the Fire Nation capital. She stops to think for a second, eying the rift. But leaving Sokka and even Zuko behind doesn't seem like a good idea, so she starts walking, in hopes of finding one or both of them.

He spots her. Katara isn't exactly hard to spot, mostly because..she's the only human being in the entire place besides himself. Zuko looks particularly broody this afternoon. He always looks broody in some respect, but this time it's serious.

"..Katara?"

He calls out after her.

She looks up nervously when she hears someone call out her name. It's Zuko, but she's not sure if she should feel relieved to see him. Things are still very much awkward as far as she's concerned.

"Um, hi, Zuko." She crosses her arms in front of her. "What are you doing here?"

"Uh..I thought this could be the way out. I went through the rift and ended up here."

This place looks like home exactly. It's identical, but there's no people, and because of that something still doesn't feel right.

"But something's wrong. This isn't home."
