John had to visit Vriska alone. He knew she'd be upset that she didn't know the instant he had feelings about Dave at all, but there was no way he could've talked about this before it was an actual thing. He just wished he could explain why being gay was so scary for a kid like him.

He wondered if there was any sort of troll equivalent. Maybe pacifism was something you had to come out of the closet for?

In any case, he was kind of doomed to have to put out some Vriska-fires no matter what he did, so hopefully arriving at her door with a bouquet of cerulean flowers would help.

That was all Dave needed to pick John up and flashstep the fuck out of there. Vriska was hurt, obviously, and jealous and angry at Dave. He was also pretty sure that neither of them should have stayed there even a second more.

However, he had a feeling that his stepping in would have some dire repercussions.

And he'd be right to think that. Because a hurt and angry Vriska is bad enough; a hurt and angry Vriska denied her chance to lash out is just all the more driven for revenge.

For now, however, all she can do is unleash her dice with a howl of rage, not really caring what damage it does to the room because it's not like she's not going to be tearing shit apart and not sobbing because fuck that, she doesn't cry anyway.
