Does anyone know how (or if it's possible to) make gmail *not* group by "conversation" (ie subject line).

Mostly, great idea.

Not so much when you're doing the tenant search thing and 90% of the subject lines are the same!

I just spent a little while fiddling with this and I believe that the answer is, unfortunately, "no." If gmail allowed having a filter mangle headers (for example to remove In-Reply-To: and/or References: ) then there would be some hope... but, as far as I can tell, it does not.
