I'm not going to talk you out of it, becuase while it IS a lot of money, the experience is something that you can't buy. And who knows? Maybe the group will break up and then you'll have missed your opportunity.

I'm still sorely, sorely tempted, but the best seats they're selling right now are pretty far away from the stage, especially compared to the venue they use when they come here. I can't justify spending $100 on a ticket that'd be that far away; if it was $75 I might've still done it, but... *sigh* Curse this sudden streak of thriftiness and responsibility!

And if they break up now, after more than 20 years together but before I get to see them in concert? I'm flying over to England to, I don't know, cry at them for breaking my heart or something. :D
