Completed my first marathon i.e. the Stan Chart marathon today.
It was definitely a good experience.
In hindsight, the preparation leading up to the run could probably have been better managed.
And hence my so-so performance and the busted knees (especially the left)!
Nonetheless, I look forward to bettering my performance in next year's marathons

did u apply the deep heat?? my knees pain went away after applying lots of it.
oh yah, my race was marred by cramps and a lousy stomach. screwed up my timing.
gonna try again next year, of cuz with even better preparation.

I guess it cld either be the running style and or my knees are not conditioned for that kinda distance..
Yeah, i applied deep heat on numerous occassions, but I din focus on the knees.
And it smells like pop-corn after a while. lol

i wish i could appply deep heat on my feets though.. started feeling sore after the 21st km and got cramps intermittenly whenever i tried to speed up after 30th mark.
anyway sundown marathon is out.. 30th May 2009.
