A snap update:

Met a friend at Outram MRT on Sun morning
For a first visit to this Chinese restaurant - Red Star Restaurant
Trekked our way along Pearls Center to Pearl's Hill Terrace all the way down to Chin Swee Road
Under the cool and wet weather
Found our destination about 15mins later
And the restaurant was quite a sight to behold

So the backup plan for Bollywood is
Hong Xin then Yangtze (if ard) then chinatown Mac rite. haha

Hong Xin is one of the more renowed restaurant serving yummy dim sum-Cantonese style. Loved by many generations esp amongst the elderly, ask them, my guess is 90% wud hv heard and/or eaten there before. :)

The patrons are mainly families, often accompanied by their elderly members. :)

The resturant somehow exudes warmth, a sensation I rarely feel. Will love to revisit that place. :)
