I think most of us would be had we not been so tired. Rage was mostly replaced with panic about how to make up for the lost days.

I was looking at my two weeks of unpaid vacation turning into one week in an airport and coming to the conclusion it probably wasn't worth it. I asked my mom if it might not be a better idea for me just to head back to Seattle and try again next year.

Just don't go United. EVER.

Once we got away from United, the vacation was amazing. I'm getting to that part.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing much from you once you finally got there, but that was to be expected.
I just can't believe all the crap you guys went through.

Don't fly American Airlines. And don't fly United. CHECK!
(and according to Bellingham people..don't fly Allegiant)

On the flip side: Singapore? OMG - I would fly Singapore Airlines to places I don't want to go simply because they're that awesome. That's coming up in Part 3.

I am literally on the edge of my seat. I know it all works out well in the end, but I MUST KNOW.

My parents are flying out on American (to Ohio) tomorrow - my mom didn't realize this until AFTER their big seat kerfuffle recently. SO GLAD I am flying IcelandAir all the way to Reykjavik, London and Seattle!
