I spent some time cyber-stalking some people I used to know via LJ/MySpace/Facebook today. The fact that I consider this an acceptable activity makes me feel a little bit dirty. I'm terribly out of touch with all but a few people, and in general losing contact happened pretty naturally and it doesn't bother me much... but in theory its a little

I'm about to start my fabulous thesis Journey, beginning next week. Daily minimum 1 page, daily maximum 5 pages. In 30 days (what I have, for practical reasons), I should have a decent thesis. I've spent longer procrastinating on this than anything in my academic career to date, so I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised when I find out that "procrastinating" was really "percolating
