OH MY FUCKING GOD, INTERNET. THAT IS HOW YOU WRITING A FINALE RIGHT THERE. I LOVE MOFFAT SO MUCH AND I MAY NEVER TAKE OFF THE CAPSLOCK AGAIN.
There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I do not love to tiny tiny heart-shaped bits about that episode. Every time I had a moment of "...wait. But - how?" IT FIT RIGHT BACK INTO THE STORYLINE. IN A WAY THAT MADE SENSE. And I'm sure there are still things that are a bit wonky with the logic because that is how Who rolls, but the major things like how there was still a sun and how all the universe could vanish at once and how the Dalek could magically be functional again and then using that as the way everything was fixed? I love you, Moffat!
And can we talk about how he essentially took two of Rusty's finales and made them a million and a half times better? It was, like, the equal and opposite reaction to what RTD did to my Donna and I am so happy I may have actually teared up a little. AND! That is how you make clapping for the Doctor the thing that saves the day without turning him into fucking Tinkerbell-Jesus.
