With clumsy digits, she took hold of one of his fresh shots and slid it towards herself. It was his cherished Prudence and she was sloshing over the rim with profound insouciance.

Every time you post, you kill another person's career because they look at your work and realize that there's just no point. If you don't believe me, ask young_egotist. :)

You're truly gifted, Lauren. :)

Thank you so much!

I hope that's not really true, though. I'd much rather inspire than discourage.

Good lord. That's it. I'm never writing again. You just wrote it all. That's beautiful beyond words.

Oh yeah, and books. young_egotist July 25 2006, 17:35:53 UTC
I won't stop, I'll just lock it far away in a hard drive, far from the light of the internet or other places people can read things.

Seriously though, that's gorgeous.

What always strikes me about your writing is that...is always seems to contain elements of both the profane and the divine, as if you constantly are able to perceive the darkest and brightest sides to human nature.

It's really fascinating. :) I really enjoyed reading this, and the first few paragraphs were especially grabbing.

Both the profane and divine...that's an amazing thing to say, thank you. I love that you said that because I try to get that across in pretty much everything I do. :)
