A week has gone by...

    First of all, my trip to Tallahassee was great!  Alex and I went to Starbucks every day, which is a real departure from my newly adopted thrift.  We mostly watched episodes of the Justice League and read comic books, such is the life of hip nerdiness!  Oooh and we also went to a pink mall and saw the modern film epic "Snakes on a Plane."  I

Yay for stalking Starbucks! I'm glad you had a fun time with Alex. Is the mall just pink on the outside, or the inside too? Because that sounds kind of frightening.

For the record, the first time I met you you were neither intimidating nor overconfident. You let me have part of your lunch because I had forgotten mine and I thought you were the kindest person ever.

You're a brave woman for trying to communicate more honestly! I recommend looking at this book. I read it for an assignment but I've reread it twice since then and it's really helpful (especially when I'm super nervous about confronting someone or meeting new people).
