So, my girlfriend got into Sacramento State. I'm elated for her. It's great. She's gonna be able to go to school in the fall and it's gonna be awesome

Sac is expensive depending on where you are living/roommate situation. This summer I was paying $300 for a bitchin condo/apartment, on the grid downtown, with 2 other girls. Plus commuting 45 miles to work everyday.
If I was her, I'd probably look for places to live along the route to Sac. (This in turn, would put her in my neck of the woods) No Vallejo. No Dixon. Commuting sucks, but it can be worth it to live for cheap and get to a place you really want to get to. Plus it's a great time for "me time" I used to decompress after work while on my drive back to Sac each night. Now that my drive home takes me a whole 2 fucking minutes, I'm driven insane with my loud family the moment I walk in the door.
Ugh Sac is fantastic. Oh the Golden Bear, The Old Taven, the best indian food I've ever put inside my mouth, UUUUUGH. I love Sac.
