A one bedroom mid-terrace (250 year old approx - basically a one up-one down with bathroom and kitchen crowbarred in) with no garden near us has been on the market in Shepton for about £120K. So it comes as no surprise that a flat in Bath would go for a around half again as much.
Just to add, the lady who told me that rumour then admitted that she and her partner were buying a 1 bedroom flat unfurnished and in need of a little work just down the road from me for £180k
Well a number of sites give you sales information for your area. Register, add postcode, step back and once in a while you get price information on sales going back years.
I think rightmove.co.uk also provide a searchable db of info but you need to register with the site.
