Not as bad as it seemed

I am home, leaving again tomorrow, and the cat is feeling much much better.
She reacted really well to the medicines the vet gave her, and by the time I got home she was already almost back to her normal self.
Her kidneys are problematic, but they are still working and there's a good chance that the situation can stay like this for a while.
