of course it will! thats how relationships are. its the testing situations like this that really let you know if you guys are meant to be. from what you say you guys have a strong loving bond and something like this, while challenging, will just make that stronger.

Of course your relationship will change, but, that's college. What would be worse is if you and Juan were going to the same school, believe me, it causes problems. You're going to change so incredibly much your first year...that, sometimes if you're so close to your boyfriend/girlfriend, it creates drama. Believe me. My boyfriend lives an hour away from me and we see each other two, maybe three times a week. And because of that I trust him even more because...well, I have too.

You'll do fine, promise :)
