“What, in the world, is that?” Kyungsoo asks, eyes wider than saucers.
“Poutine, what else?” Kris replies, looking down at the fries sitting in his lap.
“And what is this... poo teen you speak of?”
“Poutine,” repeats Kris with enunciation, “is fries with cheese and gravy.”
“Ew.”
“It’s not gross! How is it gross, Kyungsoo?” Kris groans, throwing his hands up in exasperation.
“Look at it!” squeaks Kyungsoo, pointing a finger at the food, as if it offends him. “It’s fries with cheese and gravy. How is it not gross?”
“This coming from the guy who eats doughnuts five meals a day.” Kris rolls his eyes.
“It’s not five meals, hyung! Only once! Maybe twice on a nice day!” Kai shouts from the kitchen, where he is currently rummaging through the fridge. Kyungsoo hides his face in embarrassment.
“Not that type of eating, Jongin,” he mumbles quietly. Kris snorts and kicks Kyungsoo away.
“You’re spoiling my appetite. Go away if you can’t appreciate the beauty of poutine,” Kris grumbles, waving his hand in dismissal.
Kai pats Kyungsoo’s shoulder, whip cream in hand. “It’s okay, hyung. Let’s go eat something else.” His hand trails a little low on Kyungsoo’s backside. The older man sends a pleading look to Kris. The leader of EXO-M ignores him. That will show him never to insult Canada’s food again.
