To me, this song is about explaining to someone or something that you've grown up and need to move on. After spending too much time on one thing, we feel the need to move into a higher level.. or just something new completely ("I'm going to explore") because all the new things look more fun and appealing. But like I said, someone in this song is getting left behind as she tries to explain that she wishes she could be happy where she is- but she wants more exciting things to enjoy life.

oh, it's so interesting to hear other ppl's ideas about the songs :)
this is the magic of bjork, she can mean so different things to different people, and they still can feel related to her songs.

i have this friend and she and her husband are like heavymetal listeners to the end so they're taste of music is complately different than mine, but still they also like bjork a lot, she's one of their favorites, and they find elements that are similar to heavymetal from her music! which i found kinda weird but i'm happy that she can touch everyone... :)
