So Wal-Mart is again trying for a bank charter. Pretend you're a Wal-Mart employee (which is fairly likely-relatively speaking-considering Wal-Mart is the largest private employer in the US). You go to work, at Wal-Mart. You get paid, and cash your check at Wal-Mart. You make a withdrawal from your Wal-Mart account to buy goods from Wal-Mart. ( Read more... )

The Wal-Mart Super Center near us is a department store, grocery store, hair salon, bank, subway, papa murphys.
