$222. That's how much I've had to spend on textbooks so far this semester. The most recent addition to that total is a book I bought just the other day because the bookstore finally got around to ordering it.

You know something is very wrong when you buy a 200-page paperback book for $55 and you think to yourself, 'hey, not bad.'

Recently I've come to notice a rather odd phenomenon occurring in the realm of official university business, banking, subscription services and utilities. This is a complex film. I highly recommend going to see it, however, particularly if you enjoy fairly non-traditional character studies and dark comedies. Richard Linklater is a master at developing his characters with (at times) such cryptic dialogue.
