Sorry to hear about the flooded garage, but glad you're safe.

I'm not letting Christmas be cancelled.

A few years ago we had a bad snowstorm over Christmas and had to postpone it until February.

Oh, the car being safe is a good thing! Hopefully the freezer is the only casuality. I'm glad that it wasn't worse, I'm sorry that it happened though!

I'm glad that you're not going to let it stop Christmas for you though! *hugs*

Blimey. I'm glad the damage was limited to the garage but I'm sorry to hear you were affected at all. That's one bit of good news about the car though - having to stump up the cost of a new freezer while you wait for the insurance to pay out is bad enough but having to deal with the car insurance people (and making do while they take ages to do anything) is even worse.

I saw a report on the BBC news from Hull after the flooding and wondered if you had been involved in the making of it, I didn't realise you were so close to the river.

Just to say it again, I'm glad you're ok even if your garage being affected sucks. I can only imagine how scary the whole ordeal must have been!

I'm so glad you guys made it through okay. At least you didn't lose too much...I don't know what I'd do if my car was flooded. *shudder* (Not that my car is the most important thing, but it would be a major inconvenience to have to replace it.)

Get that Christmas tree and have an AWESOME Christmas. You deserve it.
