Take the job. It's a foot in the door of the field you are interested in.
If that won't cut the bills, find another PT job.
Most companies don't offer insurance to PT workers unless they are part of a union. :-/
Hopefully if you take this job, then start doing youth min, they will see how great you are, and promote you to full time!

I accepted it for the summer, and told them the fall is still up in the air. They were OK with that, for now. So we'll see. I'm hoping you're right, that this is a good foot in the door. If all works according to how I'd like it to go, it will turn into a full time gig with me doing youth min part time and IT part time.
The only issue might be health insurance, but i'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Thanks for the advice!!

is this a place in Mass? cause if its in massachusetts they are required to offer you insurance because of all the new laws about health insurance here. You might have to pay some money towards it..but they are required to offer it

It is in Mass, but I don't know how that works with it being a religious organization. Plus it's only part time. They've already told me they can't offer me any benefits, but that may change once I become full time.
