so i had a birthday and Kermit got me this awesome emerald necklace! i <3 it so! my parents gave me a weekend at some hotel neat Hearst's Castle with a tour or something, which is awesome as i've never been there before despite living only an hour and a half away ( Read more... )

I am dying to do the Hearst castle tour. Post once you have, I'd love to hear about it.

I'm trying to convince Gaby to watch BSG. I'm convinced I will eventually win her over. I want to rewatch it, but I'm just waiting until I win. Heh.

i'm sure the tour will be awesome and entry-worthy, no worries :)

on the BSG front, i took one HELL of a lot of convincing before i gave in and watched it. i don't think i started until after season 3 had begun. it was the endless squeeing on the flist and comments about how dark it was that won me over. anywhoo, best decision ever. i was initally so against it because eeeeeveryone was on and on about how it was juuuust so coooool and blahblahblahoverhypecakes. anywhoo, she should watch it...but then you know that :)
