Wind-Up Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami! That's been recced to me endlessly lately, and he's from Japan, so that works two ways, yeah?

Or anything by Tom Robbins, another frequently recced (from myself as well). Just putting it out therrrre.

thanks so much for the recs! I'll definitely check out the Murakami book - the synopsis looks interesting! What's your favorite Tom Robbins one (or the one that's been recced the most)?

hey love, might not be what you are looking for, but I am reading a collection of short stories by Haruki Murakami "Blind Willow, Sleeing Woman" and those are amazing! I never thought I would enjoy reading short stories so much, but I really do, and it means that if you sometimes only have 20 minutes to read you still get to the end of the story! HAve a wonderful holiday :)

Oh, cool - somebody reccomended me one of his books already, so I'll put that on the list of things to check, too. I like short stories :) It's nice to mix it up! Thanks!
