Dammit, I will NOT give in to Twitter, but sometimes it would be so handy, as in right now, when I would like to inform someone, anyone, that my phone just rang for the first time all day and it was someone looking for the guy who had my extension three years ago. :D it's so damn popular all of a sudden. Also I possibly have a secret fear that nobody would want to follow my updates...and I don't understand how it works, do you have to have internet on your phone in order to get updates sent to it, or is it like texting?

It is very popular now, that's true. I'm not sure why - I think maybe because Obama twittered to everyone so often all his updates. *shrug* It works just like a text. You can either enter messages on the web, or you can text messages from your phone. Or if you do internet on your phone, you can do it there as well. Then you can set it up to receive certain updates straight to your phone if you wish. For example, when Andy Murray updates, his messages come right to my phone. Lots of people use it as more of an IM thing, which can get a little annoying, but it's nice to be able to update people like if you're traveling and have a lot of people to notify, "hey, my plane landed - all is well" etc. There's also lots of fun people to follow like Tom Felton and God. XD For the most part, I like it.

I would probably try it out if I could figure out for sure whether it's just the same as a text. I don't have internet on my phone and I don't want to accidentally run up a huge bill for my parents, but I can't figure it out from the website.
