SPOILERS if you haven't seen "Zebras" yet:
SO Ive decided to write something about the SVU season 10 finale because it's been a day since I watched it and I still feel like i have to express how i FEEL about it. And what better place to do so than on livejournal? No one reads this anyway. ahaha. And if you are reading this, hopefully you're an SVU fan or at least watched last night's episode. Cause otherwise, this might get boring for ya.
First of all, I CANT BELIEVE they killed O'Halloran! I am so sad! I loved him! I actually entertained the thought that it might be him that gets the boot, and then I was like, naahh, it's not him. No way! I thought it was going to be Judith Light. When Elliot and Olivia came to her house, I was all set and ready to see her go, and I had prepared myself for the death of Angela Bower, and then she SITS on a syringe (after her house had been cleared by a bomb squad?! I guess they look for bombs, not needles) and I was like OMG this is it.. and then she was okay! And I breathed a sigh of relief, because if they HAD killed off Judith Light's character, it should have been WAY more dramatic than that. btw, what was that flirting with Elliot she was doing in the beginning of the episode?! And in her bathrobe! Ahahaha! I thought that was funny.
But ANYWAY. O'Halloran. I'm really sad. He's been on the show for a good 5 years, he's smart and has good relationships with the squad, not to mention he is extremely HANDSOME. And now that he's gone, what are they gonna do? Hire another new tech guy? Or maybe they'll give Morales more screen time now, he's cool. But ohh, I'm going to miss O'Halloran. The way he died was so sad too.. knife through the heart, and by his own colleague! Looking back at the promo now, they DID show O'Halloran's dead body on the floor. I mean they didnt show his face, but you can see he's wearing a lab coat. I don't know why I didn't pick up on that. Probably because I was too worried about what was gonna happen to Stabler to notice. That was creepy the way Stuckey dragged him across the floor like that..
I can't say I'm surprised Stuckey ended up being the perp. Actually, I wasn't surprised at all. There was always something weird about him. I hope he goes to jail and rots there FOREVER. ughh he was creepy. The last scene was so intense. I winced every time he cut Stabler. Poor Elliot's been through a lot this year. But then Olivia always shows up to save him. She's my hero. When she started screaming at Elliot and slapping him around I'm pretty sure I was like wait.. she IS pretending, right? She was eerily convincing as a crazy person, making it more believable that stupid Stuckey would fall for it. I couldn't help thinking during that whole rant of hers that that was not all just stuff she made up. I'm pretty sure a lot of those frustrations she got out in that scene were real. I mean, Olivia has done SO much for Elliot and his family and he does not show her enough gratitude or concern back in the SLIGHTEST. She will seriously do anything for him (granted, she is in love with the man) and it pisses me off that we can't even get one scene where he thanks her or does something for HER. So yeah, even though Olivia would never actually hit Elliot or even be that harsh under different circumstances, I'm pretty positive that wasn't just stuff she pulled out of her ass, she actually meant to an extent what she was saying. of course, Elliot won't figure that out because he's an idiot. Although, that look on his face when she kissed Stuckey was pretty excellent. Everyone I was watching with just burst out laughing when they showed his reaction. Haha, he looked almost hypnotized by what he was seeing. Well maybe seeing THAT will make you come to your senses Stabler! WAKE UP! SHE LOVES YOU. Geeez. It's just so frustrating.
Anyyyways. Other things I liked about this episode:
-Munch and Fin on that carnival ride was REALLY funny to me. LOL. I mean was that REALLY necessary? Haha it was so random. They were on it for a long time too! And they were sitting so close to each other in the little car. AHAHA. I don't know, I wasn't sure how to react to that scene. Yeah, they were following a perp but they were chasing him through a FUN HOUSE. And they were sitting in a little car together. Oh Munch and Fin <3
-Emily Gilmore died!!! She looks like she's aged so much since Gilmore Girls, or maybe it's because she had different makeup on. Oy that was painful watching her car fill up with that gas though. And what were her windows made out of?! They couldn't get to her in time :( Pity because I would have liked to see her back on the show.
-Donnelly's line.. "People... take your meds!" classic.
-The fact that Liv knew something was wrong because she knows Elliot doesn't like sushi.. aw that's cute. haha.
-Elliot getting all mad after Stuckey said the girl in the picture "looks like Liv.. but younger." Uhh. That's because it WAS her but younger. hahaha. Elliot got all defensive like, who YOU callin old?! Cut to fifteen minutes later in the episode: Olivia kissing the guy 20 years younger than her.
Things I didn't like:
-No Alex :( BRING BACK STEPHANIE MARCH! OR DIANE NEAL! OR BOTH!
-No Melinda! Come onnnn. and not enough BD either.
Overall, amazing episode. Great way to end year ten. I can't wait til next season :)
