It always amazes me when someone comments on a story I posted years ago. Well, this one was, indeed, the first fanfiction I ever wrote and this was the first site I posted it to. As you can tell, I very interested in the father/son subtext that can be found in the movie.

Hopefully sometime today I will be posting a short "Hellboy" fanfiction in honor of Christmas. Hope you have a chance to look at it and thanks again for reading and taking the time to comment on this story.

I see now that you located a version of this story that I had posted to my LiveJournal personal journal. It's basically the same as posted elsewhere on LiveJournal in a Hellboy community called Hellishness (or Hellboy Fans).
