Teething Pains

Naia is teething now and the poor child is absolutely inconsolable when it annoys her. I have not seen her wail as so since she was a newborn. The feeling of helplessness as a parent is so difficult to bear. :o( On days like these, it sucks to have to drop her off at daycare and go to work. All I want to do is hold her and comfort her. WOW! Tyler is 10months old and still toothless. Not that I'm complaining but Im annoyed that others are always saying "Still no teeth yet?" SO WHAT? Gosh!
Anyway maybe can give poor Naia those cooling teether toys where you put in the freezer for her to chew. Or I heard there'e the teething gel that helps to lesser the pain. Don't worry this shall soon pass.

Hmm . . I thought it was kind of early too but the signs are all there, appetite changes, excessive drooling, biting (ouch!) when nursing, . . . but when I would massage her gums to give her relief, I do not feel any ridges. The funny thing with the teething ring is that she can't hold it herself for too long yet. So it keeps falling out of her mouth.

chiara displayed those signs for a while before the teeth shows... then it gets better... but i dun remember her wailing. just drooling and biting... and her ass turned a little red right before she teethed... weird...
