I was watching Law & Order (Special Victims Unit) - one of my all-time favourite TV series and this episode on a mother who killed her baby daughter who had Tay Sachs came on. Basically, this couple (she is of Jewish descent, he is Anglo-Saxon Catholic) had a baby daughter. Then the symptom of a red spot in the back of the baby’s eyes appeared

it's hard to know what i'll do since i'm not in the situation. thank god too for chiara's good health (colic, jaundice, bronchitis, aczema aside)

i think i would keep the baby alive for as long as i can and try to let it live as full a life as possible.

I would cry if I watched that show... I always do when I watched such child tradegy and I always imagine the same happening to tyler. Imagine the pain and anguish the mother felt when she's killing her own daughter just to let her die peacefully instead of in constant pain till she eventually die.

I know! I am so filled with passion like never before for mothers and children who suffer. Noah on the other hand, does not get affected the same way and just looks at me like I am coo-coo-for-coco-puffs. Men!
