OK, I have to boast a little on the verbal capabilities of Ms. Naia-Athena, 19-months. She knows her 1-10 (some difficulties with 7 and 8) and can recognize them as standalone numbers. Noah and I can now tell when Naia is "going". She's even gotten to the point of coming to us and saying "poopie" once she is done and walk to the changing table so we will change her. Being away from home frequently can be quite lonely at times. I try to keep my evenings productive and would run errands in Columbus where I could. Good thing I do not have to fly so I can put stuff in my car to do during lunchbreaks or after work. Helps too that the sales tax in Columbus is lower - not by much but mentally, it just feels good ( Read more... )
