Over on the Downton forums I called the Patrick plot. This means I have a grand knack of accurately predicting the future plot direction of this show.

I should point out here that I have NOT read ANY of the massive episode 8 spoilers that have got the fandom so het up. I have no insider information. Anyone who puts GENUINE spoilers in these ( Read more... )

I'm sorry about that. :( I didn't want it to happen either! But it was necessary, you see, for the great romance of Robert and Jane that we're all so invested in to progress as it deserves...

Oh yes. The love that knows no boundaries therefore is not required to make sense.

I tend to believe Cora doesn't really die in your scenario, and O'Brien leaves a month or so later after putting on a show of grief actor!Carson would be proud of and meets up with Cora in America.

Robert/Jane: the ship that has truly united the entire fandom.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Edith managed it all, after she spent her time when the war ended dedicated to her new hobby of hypnotism and mesmerism, a study that conveniently incorporated techniques of giving a death-like appearance. Aunt Rosamund got the boat tickets for them all.

This is hilarious! I actually would prefer your story to the real monstrosity that DA is turning out to be!

Wow, great plot twist that Jane's husband was the real Patrick. Never saw that coming.

However, I always suspected Lavinia being a cyborg.

Also I'm fairly sure any scene with Branson in will involve him in various states of undress, possibly emulating various Athena posters.

Up to and including the one of the girl in a tennis dress scratching her bum.

LOL, Matthew disinherited twice over -- totally sounds like the show. :p I'm glad it didn't become They Keep Killing the Heirs to DA, but it has sort of become They Keep Disinheriting the Heir to DA. ;)

Lavinia as a kitchen robot is pure gold. :p

And Vera faking her death.

A++++. :D
