forty-four is really not that old. *G*

Twenty-one--a birthday the child loves and the parent cringes at.

yeah, I'm supposed to take comfort in the fact that he can never be arrested for "minor in possession" again. lol (but not really funny)

Talk about milestones - and all of the good. :)

...But I'm like most guys in that I like long hair, and while you tend to look darling with short locks, I still remember the first photo of you I ever saw, with flowing long tresses...

I liked the long hair too. And, every now and again I get the urge to grow it back but, my patience seems to have changed. lol Once it becomes unruly, I give up and cut it again.

I'm really, really short right now.

oh I loved Jamie's hair in that magazine, I just love her.

44 is so not old, please say its not, I am not far behind you...
I went short again too just before christmas, I am also keeping it short too, I like it.

Awesome on the weight loss too, I need to do it myself, just can't seem to get out there to do it. I am sooo lazy.

No, 44 is NOT old. Don't worry. :)

Currently I look like a cross between Jamie Lee Curtis and a chemo patient. LOL I keep tugging at it like it'll make it longer.

You know, it may have been short in NY and I have pics of you on my computer with brown hair but---my memory of you is always with shoulder length blonde hair from back in the YA gathering days. :)

Happy Birthday, E! How did he celebrate?

I don't think I can even picture your hair shorter! You'll have to send me a picture of that one in case I don't see you right after.

Congrats on the weight loss and not smoking! You're still doing way better than I am.

The smart ass next to me (as I type this) wants to know if you're wearing the sexy lingerie he bought you. *rolleyes*

if you're wearing the sexy lingerie he bought you.

I can't believe he told you about that!!!! It was supposed to be our little secret!

As for the hair.....OMG! In about two weeks I may like it. It's a bit drastic for me. I have to make sure my ears are clean.

I'll have to try to post a picture over the weekend.

hi, I hopped over from your Comment in dm_wyatt's LJ.
I had four kids by natural childbirth (the Bradley Method)
The first had my Bradley teacher, who was an RN-Midwife when it was still illegal (CA hadn't yet sanctioned the practice with State Certification, which they did by popular demand). Th 2nd was me and my hubby cuz the RN-Midwife arrived a few minutes too late. The 3rd I had a RN-Accupuncturist who used three needles in my ear and when the contraction would begin to build, she'd twirl the needles and the pain would level-off instead of rising and rising (!!). The 4th one, she couldn't get there in time and it was just me and hubby #two, and I was so pleased I'd internalized the ability to recreate enough of the benefits from both treatments, to help me cope with a danged 10#-10oz freaking turkey. I told everyone that if he'd been my first, I woulda croaked heh.

Good for you on the poundage-drop and the ciggy reduction! I'm working on the same stuff right - may I Befriend you?
