heavily spelled note to Millicent.

Millicent,

I hope your evening of fun with the Auror’s was reasonably pleasant. If you’d like to discuss with me what the hell you were thinking by attacking the events, do feel free to come find me. I’d love to know the details or how you managed to get involved in the most interesting thing to happen since a funeral. I suppose the day with the Inspector could have been worse.

I managed to pick up an ample supply of chocolates whilst in Hogsmeade before things were cut short. They’re enclosed.

I do hope, cousin Millicent, that things settle down. I’m sure you know some good hexes to shut up the lower years from asking impertinent questions.

[the rest of the note is spelled to be read solely by Millicent and to crumble away at the touch of another person]

I do hope that the whole situation isn’t how it seems! If the rumours are to be believed then you are in some serious trouble. Lets just hope they don’t notify your parents because explaining to your mother those actions might be a bit hard as they might be seen as coming from a higher and less accommodating source.

Forgive a little family worry and anger but I sincerely hope that this has an explainable reason behind the whole affair. This better not be outside influence giving way to action. And you understand perfectly well what influence I mean although knowing you this will be brushed off by a drole, sarcastic comment. Somethings cannot be said in a note. Talk to me soon, I hope.

Worriedly, once again
