i think it's very sad! but i also really like how familiar everything is - i mean, parents still have trouble getting their kids up and ready for school, kids still push against their parents, siblings still bicker, people still travel for work and their partners still miss them, adults still have to deal with their aging parents. evidently some things never change. :D
