Wow, is that really how people are reacting to the tragedy in Japan? I wonder if after Hurricane Katrina the Japanese were like "I wonder if this will delay our next shipment of cheeseburgers" or something. That's pretty sick that people could say such things.

And I don't know about you, but I was taught that "if there's an assignment, then it WILL be done on the due date, even if you have to stay up all night for it." Guess that isn't the norm.

I've been hearing that sorta shit from people. It's just...revolting. People have also been like "SUCK IT UP GUYS LAWLS" and it's stupid...they didn't have warning and then everything just goes to hell. There isn't anyone to blame. |:

Things are more laid-back here. Which can be good, can be bad. What I dislike is that there's this sorta crappy work ethic among a lot of people, and it bugs me. I don't know why. But it gets personal when I've worked myself to the bone and there's some guy sitting there all smug-like saying he simply didn't have his time. Sure he didn't have time, Call of Duty is such a taxing pastime, isn't it? They find ways to exploit the teacher. In all of last year I asked for only one extension and I actually needed it...And then people think having a work ethic is silly. Bleh.

Your work ethic will totally pay off if you ever go to grad school. ;-)

I have to admit that I did think of manga and anime, but that's because I'm worried about manga authors, voice actors, and others in the entertainment industry whom I really admire, not because I'm worried about things getting pushed back or whatever. I also have friends in Japan, luckily they're in Tokyo, but I'm just heartsick at the devastation in the northeast. I'm not the praying type but I'm hoping against hope that the nuclear situation will stablilize.

That certainly makes more sense than complaining about delayed episode. I could understand if more people presented it like that. Worrying about animated characters makes a lot less sense than caring about the people actually behind it. I wonder if more people see it this way? Hmmm...
It's been making me feel awful too...gonna donate money as soon as I can. >_<;
