Life and Death.

I firmly believe that celebrating ANY death is a terribly insensitive thing to do. I don't care if Osama, Hitler, mosquitos, dogs, or Justin Bieber, it's LIFE and it's being ENDED. And there are others who still live and hurt from it ( Read more... )

I don't think the celebrating in the streets stuff is appropriate at all, but I disagree that Osama Bin Laden is worthy of any respect. When a person stops respecting human life - and he did that to a horrible degree - there is no reason for anyone to respect him or his goals. Making the world a "better place" by killing (thousands of) innocents? By seeing those not of his idealology as less than human? I don't care how well-intentioned he may have thought himself. Like Hitler, Stalin etc. he was a messed up fool who unfortunately wielded enough power to harm others.
