So it finally happened: I saw someone wearing Crocs and bad-80's-revival black leggings together.

i did not dress well then either BUT.

i did not take fashions that belong in another decade (or simply do not belong at all) and try to mash them together into an "outfit."

even nerdy little fashion unconscious pre-teen kendall knew that rule.

You know what I hate? Those fucking "skinny pants" that are everywhere. I can't say I've seen anyone wearing them, but the subway cars are plastered with Gap ads, and the models don't even look good. They look like they're bad 80's fashion attempts. I'm sure I'm not the first to say that the 80's should stay in the 80's.

Yea, I haven't seen many people wearing those yet. Maybe people have some sense? Or they spent all their money on leggings! (Granted I think some people can look great in skinny jeans - if I were skinny, I would wear them for that reason alone).

I have a theory that 90% of people that wear leggings now are in first year of university or below. Seriously. They always look so young. (And naive).

Has the black legging trend under short skirt not hit Chicago yet? I realized that Ottawa isn't so bad now, after spending last weekend in Toronto. Every time you blinked, there was another one... and if it wasn't that.. it was Crocs. I mean. Really. This kept me so entertained at Wonderland while waiting in lines.

Also, I'm SO SO SO MAD at stupid fashion designers that keep reviving fashion abortions that stayed in another fucking decade for a reason >:o(

The skinny jeans have been over here for months, blegh blegh blegh. I hate them. As have the leggings.

The crocs haven't hit us so hard though... hopefully they never will.
