we went to grrreat american diner afterwards and some people in the van next to us were "puffin on the wacky weed." hahaha!!
nicole, matt, eric, kate, me and ron all sat at a table in the diner together. i won a stuffed red teddy bear from a crane machine on my first try. WOO!!

everyone looked simply loverly!! YAY!
after being out til 12 on saturday, i still managed to wake up around 6:30. i got dressed up in all my "ski apparel" and made it to paulies at 7:30.
mrs. rizzo drove paulie, leanna, jill, me, and ronnie up to blue mountain.
we got up there, got our lift tickets (paulie got me and ronnie "youth" tickets and got us outta paying 20 bucks!) and rented our stuff. ski shoes are DAMNED HEAVY!! *dies*
so we all go down this little (yet steep) slope where they blow snow into your face. and this is the slope that leads to the easy slope. hah! i hadnt yet mastered the whole "stopping" thing, so i plowed face first into a bunch of snow/ice.
as for the easy slope... the easy slope was none too easy for moi!
thank god that ron was so patient w/ me. i fell about 45 times. each time, it got worse. i was so frustrated and i wanted to quit about 12 times, but ron assured me that there was NO WAY!! i'm such a baby!! i started crying. my skis would fall off and i would get my foot snapped into one, then i'd slowly slide down the hill before i could get my other one on. that was a bitch and a hafl!! haha. after a few mental breakdowns, i felt a bit better, though!! i actually got the hang of it after the first slope. woo!! took me 1 and a half hours, but i did conquer that first slope!!
we went back to the lounge after that and chilled out for a bit. after that, we went out again and did an intermediate slope and a few more easy ones. haha! me... on an intermediate slope... WOO!!
after that, we went out another time and i went on the original easy slope for the 3rd time. kids, i went down it w/o falling ONCE!! *dances* i was so proud. then, in line for the ski lift, i fell flat on my face. *shakes head*
so i went back to the lounge and hung out w/ jill and mrs. rizzo. ron went out on some harder slopes that i would probably break my neck on. we all got together at 5 and returned our stuff. after all that business, we headed home.
at the rizzo household, we had some pizza and i watched about an hour of "troy" before my dad picked me up.
