There's clearly an interest in having a Dreamwidth mirror of Epic Rants. My plan had been to get everything imported over and then respond to comments to my previous post with a link to the new comm. I think I saw something about community imports being currently restricted to paid users due to high demand; don't know if that's been lifted yet.

You can buy as little as 1 month paid account service & then import.

I have some points left over from the deal in December where they gave you extra points for purchases, if you'd like a month's service transferred over. ;)

I appreciate the thought, but I have to admit that I don't mind waiting for the transfer. Honestly, it sounds a bit daunting and I'm kind of relieved to have an excuse to wait to see how ya'lls transfer of Epic Recs goes. Which reminds me -- did you get switched to maintainer status yet? I figured slyprentice could do that once I made her a maintainer, but if not please let me know and I'll get it taken care of.
