Writer's Block: In the Event of a Zombie Emergency

In the event of zombie apocalypse, my plan is to go to my family's house, with a potential detour to a friend's house in case the last hour and a half of the drive proves unreasonable. The friend's house is way out in the country, stocked with food, guns, dogs, and two engineers plus guests. My family's house... big. Stucco. Woodstove. Steel doors from a security-conscious owner back in the day. More than half the basement is underground, we have a lot of power, and in the family room downstairs is the 'storefront' for Bill's Guns.
In case of zombie apocalypse, you may find me three stories up with a rifle, covering my people as they run to safety.
